Whose way is "my way"?

I’m studying toward a Ph.D. in literature, with a focus on Victorian culture. That means a lot of reading, a little writing, and a fair amount of teaching. In the past, I’ve also done some freelance writing on art and photography. In my spare time, I collect photographs, and books, and rejection slips from creative writing venues.
